Privacy Policy

The short version

SimpleClean uploads the audio or video you choose to Cloudflare R2, processes it with Modal, and returns original and cleaned versions to your account. We use your data only to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Uploaded media is normally deleted within 7 days, and you can delete completed cleanups sooner from the product.

What we collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, sign-in provider, and session identifiers
• Cleanup information, including file name, size, media type, duration, processing status, and usage balance
• The audio or video you choose to upload, plus the cleaned output created for you
• Billing records received from Creem, such as order, subscription, entitlement, and refund status — SimpleClean does not receive or store your full payment-card details
• Technical and security information needed to prevent abuse and operate the service, such as request timestamps, IP-derived security signals, browser type, and error logs

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate your account, process and deliver cleanups, maintain your balance and purchase history, provide customer support, prevent fraud or abuse, diagnose failures, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and browser storage for authentication, security, theme preferences, upload state, and recent-cleanup display. You can clear browser storage in your browser settings, although doing so may sign you out or remove device-local history.

Google Analytics and your choices

Google Analytics is enabled by default to help us understand privacy-safe product usage. Google may receive standard browser and network information. SimpleClean never intentionally sends media files, filenames, media duration or size, account identity, signed URLs, or payment identifiers to GA4.

Use Analytics settings in the footer to turn analytics off or back on at any time. Turning it off stops future analytics events and removes the known Google Analytics cookies from this browser.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for application delivery and object storage, Modal for media processing, Neon for application data, Google and Better Auth for sign-in, and Creem as our payment provider and merchant of record. These providers process only the information needed to perform their services and may process data in countries other than your own.

Retention and deletion

Uploaded source files and cleaned outputs are normally removed within 7 days, with storage lifecycle rules as a backstop. Deleting a cleanup requests earlier removal of its media objects. Account, billing, entitlement, fraud-prevention, and transaction records may be retained longer where needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or meet accounting and legal obligations.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete your account information by emailing us. We may need to verify your identity, and some billing or legal records may need to be retained after an account-deletion request.
